Burn ban lifted!

Did you see the great news? We've had so much rain and moisture that WA State has lifted the recreational campfire burn ban on the "wet" side of the state!  

So for any of you camping at our local state parks (Rasar, harry osborne)  and DNR lands, its camp fire time!

The following prohibitions no longer apply on WDFW lands in western Washington, but remain in effect east of the Cascade crest.

Fires or campfires: However, personal camp stoves or lanterns fueled by liquid petroleum, liquid petroleum gas or propane are allowed.
Smoking: Unless in an enclosed vehicle.
Target shooting: Except at shooting ranges developed by WDFW.
Welding and the use of chainsaws and other equipment: Operating a torch with an open flame and equipment powered by an internal combustion engine is prohibited.
Operating a motor vehicle off developed roads: Except when parking in areas without vegetation within 10 feet of the roadway and parking in developed campgrounds and at trailheads.

Welcome to EAST SKAGIT SALES & SERVICE.
Home of East Skagit Firewood Sales, serving the East Skagit communities and beyond!

Who are we?
     East Skagit Sales & Service is a small locally owned company that is dedicated to providing you with quality firewood at a fair price!  We're 100% legit, we're not the people that are advertising with a painted sign on a truck on the side of the highway.  We are a licensed business in the State of Washington, who actually purchase timber to reprocess as quality firewood for you!!

What do you sell?
     We sell Firewood for your wood burning pleasure!  Be it for heat for your home, for our recreational firepit at your home, or for your East Skagit camping site!

We have Douglas Fir, Maple, Alder, some Wild Cherry (which produces a really pretty purple flame), and some other varieties.

We sell firewood three ways.  By the CORD (Measurement of 4 feet wide, by 4 feet TALL by 8 feet LONG, stacked), by the HALF CORD (64 Cubic Feet), a Limited Supply of End Pieces for either a SMALL TRUCK or LARGE TRUCK Load, or by the BUNDLE (approximately 1 cubic Foot).

What are your prices?
     Prices on Cord wood depend on the species of wood (of which you will ALWAYS be told), and the time of year.  Prices that are quoted are before any sales tax applies, and YES, by law we are required to charge you Sales Tax, depending on the location of delivery of the firewood.

Is your Wood Seasoned, Dry? Do you sell "GREEN" wood?
     ALL of our wood, unless we specifically get a request for it, is sold as DRY, SEASONED wood.  We don't sell "Green" Wood, or wood that has recently been cut and processed into firewood.  The Majority of our firewood has been seasoning for at least 3-6 months, so that when you are ready to burn the wood, you get the most out of it!

Can you deliver?
     We have a limited delivery area and we do charge for delivery.  If you are within a 20 Mile range of Concrete, WA, we can make delivery arrangements on a Saturday.  We do NOT stack your wood, but will dump into a pile with our haul truck.
