Who are we?
     East Skagit Sales & Service is a small locally owned company that is dedicated to providing you with quality firewood at a fair price!  We're 100% legit, we're not the people that are advertising with a painted sign on a truck on the side of the highway.  We are a licensed business in the State of Washington, who actually purchase timber to reprocess as quality firewood for you!!

What do you sell?
     We sell Firewood for your wood burning pleasure!  Be it for heat for your home, for our recreational fire-pit at your home, or for your East Skagit camping site!

We usually stock Douglas Fir, Maple, Alder, some Wild Cherry (which produces a really pretty purple flame), and some other varieties.

We sell firewood three ways.  By the CORD (Measurement of 4 feet wide, by 4 feet TALL by 8 feet LONG, stacked), a Limited Supply of End Pieces for either a SMALL TRUCK or LARGE TRUCK Load, or by the BUNDLE (approximately 1 cubic Foot).

What are your prices?
     Prices on Cord wood depend on the species of wood (of which you will ALWAYS be told), and the time of year.  Prices that are quoted are before any sales tax applies, and YES, by law we are required to charge you Sales Tax, depending on the location of delivery of the firewood.

Is your Wood Dry, Seasoned? Do you sell "GREEN" wood?
     ALL of our wood, unless we specifically get a request for it, is sold as DRY, SEASONED wood.  We don't sell "Green" Wood, or wood that has recently been cut and processed into firewood.  The Majority of our firewood has been seasoned for at least 3-6 months, so that when you are ready to burn the wood, you get the most out of it!

Do you deliver?
     We have a limited delivery area and we do charge for delivery.  Prices range between $10.00 to $30.00, depending on location.  We will make every attempt to make a safe delivery, but if the Delivery address is deemed to be undeliverable (too steep of driveway, not enough room for our delivery vehicle, not easily accessible with a trailer or haul truck) you will be notified right away and have the option for pickup.

What is your delivery range?
     We delivery to within a 50 Mile range of Concrete, WA.  We usually make delivery appointments on Saturdays, but do have limited Sunday delivery times as well.

Do you Stack as well?
     We do NOT stack your wood, but will dump into a pile with our haul truck or toss off the trailer to a spot that is as out of the way as possible.

Is Delivery Taxable?
     In the State of Washington, Delivery is considered a Service and is Taxable.

What Payment Methods do you accept?
     Because most of our deliveries are to your home, and we don't have a storefront, we ask that you either pay in CASH (and we can usually give you a Cash Discount), or with PayPal.

How easy is it to pay an Invoice by PayPal?
     So Easy!!  All you need is access to PayPal.com and signing up is fast, easy and secure!  You can then pay for your invoice by Bank Transfer, Debit Card, Credit Card and more!  WE NEVER see your Payment details, so it's totally SECURE!!  And with technology these days, we can do it all within a matter of minutes!

You've a really nice blog and seem so professional, why are you doing firewood?
