Firewood Heating for 2016

Hi all!  
Thanks to our wonderful customers for buying all of our stock!  Now we're looking forward to 2016 and what that may bring us!  We are searching for some great wood for purchase: Maple, Alder, Cherry, Hemlock, Douglas Fir and other hardwoods.  So if you know of any, feel free to drop us an email!

Here's what's coming in the next year.  We are transitioning our business (looking for a new location) and may be low on inventory for a year or more.  That doesn't mean we're going away!  We are in the process of finding a new home, with a possible retail location (Wouldn't that be great)!  Since properties in the Skagit Valley that fit our needs are not very abundant, we may not find something as quick as we'd like.  

Meanwhile, if you've come to this site in dire need of wood, please feel free to give us a call (Leave a Message!) or shoot us an email and we can give you a few recommendations of other legit businesses in the upper Skagit Valley!

Burn ban lifted!

Hello skagit county! Did you see the campfire ban was lifted?   That means camp wood is back on sale!  $4.00 a bundle including tax!  Call (leave a message). With location needed and how many!   Free delivery between sedro woolley and concrete!

Burn ban 2015

Attention! Skagit county has posed a full burn ban effective June 29th .  The state of Washington also has a full burn ban on state lands.  Due to the severe risk of fire danger, East Skagit firewood sales will not be selling camp wood this summer. We urge everyone to be fire smart, and be prepared.  Wildfire risk is very high this summer. Thank you for understanding!

Wood sales for winter 2013-2014

Hello!  Quick update for cord wood sales.

Currently east skagit sales and service has put a temporary hold on all cord wood sales due to a family health matter.   We expect that our winter wood should be open for orders (we have a limited supply this year) by the middle of December.  

Currently we have full cords of douglas fir, cherry, and partial mix cord of maple/cherry/fir.  Cord prices are$215.00 - $235.00.  We also have firewood bundles ($6.00 each) for those who will be doing any winter camping in the area....

Thank you all who have inquired recently, we hope to get better soon so we can focus on some winter wood sales!

Burn ban lifted!

Did you see the great news? We've had so much rain and moisture that WA State has lifted the recreational campfire burn ban on the "wet" side of the state!  

So for any of you camping at our local state parks (Rasar, harry osborne)  and DNR lands, its camp fire time!

Here are the full details... Copies from the 8-15-13 press release...

The following prohibitions no longer apply on WDFW lands in western Washington, but remain in effect east of the Cascade crest.

Fires or campfires: However, personal camp stoves or lanterns fueled by liquid petroleum, liquid petroleum gas or propane are allowed.
Smoking: Unless in an enclosed vehicle.
Target shooting: Except at shooting ranges developed by WDFW.
Welding and the use of chainsaws and other equipment: Operating a torch with an open flame and equipment powered by an internal combustion engine is prohibited.
Operating a motor vehicle off developed roads: Except when parking in areas without vegetation within 10 feet of the roadway and parking in developed campgrounds and at trailheads.

Most of us here in the Pacific Northwest know that the weather can either be sunny and hot or cold and wet until the 4th of July.   

We're ready for some warm weather (and supposedly it's coming here in a few days!)! But with the start of Summer, means it's time to light that campfire!

So what do we have to offer? Camp Firewood Bundles!

East Skagit Firewood bundles are made with local Douglas Fir, they are dry, seasoned and ready to burn.  Each bundle is approximately One Cubic foot (usually larger) and costs only $6.00!    And the price includes the local sales tax (cash only, receipts provided).

Our bundles are approximately 16" x 12" 12", that's OVER a cubic foot!

So, how can you get these wonderful Camp Firewood Bundles?

Starting June 28th, you can find us and all the Saturdays in July at the Concrete Swap Meet, next to Loggers Landing on Hwy 20 from 10 am - 4pm.

**Campsites must be pre-approved and all delivery sales are a minimum 5 bundle order, Cash Only (receipt given).  

Please note that we are unable to delivery to Camp areas that have an entrance fee.  We can meet you at the gate though! (KOA, State Parks, Member’s only Campgrounds).  

FAST FACT:  Did you know that selling Firewood actually requires a Business License in the State of Washington?  

East Skagit Sales & Service, dba East Skagit Firewood Sales, is a licensed business in the state of Washington.  That's the reason that we collect WA State Sales Tax.  And to keep it easier on you, our Firewood bundles include the local Sales Tax, so you don't have to worry about carrying change around!

FUN FACT:  Did you know that our Wild Cherry, when burned, produces a more "purple" flame?  This wood is available by special request only.  Call for more information!

Cordwood Update

Okay, it's official, we're now SOLD OUT of Firewood by the CORD for the 2012-2013 Winter Season!

We wanted to thank each of you who bought a cord of wood from us this winter, we're in the process of gearing up for next season!

In the meantime, we're getting ready for Camping Season!  Yes, that means Camp Bundles and even a few "Camper Specials!".

Home of East Skagit Firewood Sales, serving the East Skagit communities and beyond!

Who are we?
     East Skagit Sales & Service is a small locally owned company that is dedicated to providing you with quality firewood at a fair price!  We're 100% legit, we're not the people that are advertising with a painted sign on a truck on the side of the highway.  We are a licensed business in the State of Washington, who actually purchase timber to reprocess as quality firewood for you!!

What do you sell?
     We sell Firewood for your wood burning pleasure!  Be it for heat for your home, for our recreational firepit at your home, or for your East Skagit camping site!

We have Douglas Fir, Maple, Alder, some Wild Cherry (which produces a really pretty purple flame), and some other varieties.

We sell firewood three ways.  By the CORD (Measurement of 4 feet wide, by 4 feet TALL by 8 feet LONG, stacked), by the HALF CORD (64 Cubic Feet), a Limited Supply of End Pieces for either a SMALL TRUCK or LARGE TRUCK Load, or by the BUNDLE (approximately 1 cubic Foot).

What are your prices?
     Prices on Cord wood depend on the species of wood (of which you will ALWAYS be told), and the time of year.  Prices that are quoted are before any sales tax applies, and YES, by law we are required to charge you Sales Tax, depending on the location of delivery of the firewood.

Is your Wood Seasoned, Dry? Do you sell "GREEN" wood?
     ALL of our wood, unless we specifically get a request for it, is sold as DRY, SEASONED wood.  We don't sell "Green" Wood, or wood that has recently been cut and processed into firewood.  The Majority of our firewood has been seasoning for at least 3-6 months, so that when you are ready to burn the wood, you get the most out of it!

Can you deliver?
     We have a limited delivery area and we do charge for delivery.  If you are within a 20 Mile range of Concrete, WA, we can make delivery arrangements on a Saturday.  We do NOT stack your wood, but will dump into a pile with our haul truck.

WE GUARANTEE A FULL CORD OF OUR WOOD IS TRULY A FULL CORD OF WOOD!!
